OIL AND GAS OUTPUT IN BRAZIL GROWS BY 2.8% IN JUNE

Being the largest amount since February, oil and gas output in Brazil in June reached 4.353 million barrels of oil equivalent daily (boe/d), an increase of 2.8% compared to May. While natural gas output was 150.07 million cubic meters per day (m³/d), a rise of 3.1%, compared to May, oil output was 3.409 million barrels daily, rising 2.7%. Petrobras oversaw 89.5% of the output. Rio de Janeiro is the primary production state, with the Tupi oilfield in the Santos Basin being the major producer. The eighth-largest oil producer in the world is Brazil.
