THE PORT OF SÃO FRANCISCO HAS ACHIEVED A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN JUST ONE YEAR

The Port of São Francisco do Sul recorded its highest financial performance since 1955, with a net profit of over BRL 30 million in 2023. This is a 400% increase over the prior year. Tariff money, which comes from charges placed on ships, was critical to this success. The Port’s president underlined the need of planning, resulting in a capital return of 14%. This statistic is four times greater than the previous year and surpassed the goal established by the Port Authorities Management Index.
