The numbers were expressive in the year, reaching 3.3 million TEU, up 2.9% from the first eight months of 2021, the best mark for the period. The performance of the container and agribusiness cargo boosted the Port’s global numbers, leading it to set a record, with 110.1 million tons, up 9.0% over the same period of 2021. The growth seen in August was surprising, totaling 14.6 million tons, up 21.4% from August 2021, the best performance for the month.
