Brazil stands out among the main soybean producers with the highest rate of production growth in the last two decades, registering an increase of 5.9% in soybean and corn production. Brazil currently retains its position as the largest soybean producer. In the 2001/02 harvest, Brazilian output totaled around 52 million tons of soy. Twenty years later, in the 2021/22 season, the average is 122 million tons. Brazil has also contributed to the increase of corn world supply, increasing from 44.5 million in the 2001/02 season to 116 million tons in 2021/22.
